Big Screen Southend is pleased to present a programme of artist moving image by participants of TOMA*. The programme invites the group to respond to the Big Screen's unique context for the screening of artist moving image in the public realm.

Each TOMA artist short is interspersed with excerpts from our MXNIFESTO-in-the-making text drawn from manifesto workshops created and facilitated by TOMA 2017 artist Laura Adamson. Words are from all TOMA 2016 + 2017 artists with final text written/revised\built by Laura Adamson, Emma Edmondson + Gabrielle Milanese. Digital curation by Gabrielle Milanese.

*The Other MA (TOMA) is an alternative contemporary art education programme pitched at postgraduate level working in partnership with Metal Southend. It is a responsive model shaped and moulded by its artist participants.
